Manual and Patient Handling Training
Manual Handling course this is a four hour course. The Manual Handling Regulations require that employers avoid the need for hazardous manual handling, assess the risk from any hazardous manual handling and reduce the risk of injury so far as is reasonably practicable. This also makes sound business sense, a third of all reported over three day injuries reported to the HSE and Local Authorities are caused by manual handling. Candidates will gain an understanding of the process of lifting and moving, be able to identify risks and determine the safest method of handling without injury, in line with approved code of practice, methods and regulations.More info...
