Booking Conditions and Information

Book online or on-site training with Safe Training Services today. We have a range of online courses and courses trained at our main training centre in Hampshire.


Payment is due prior to attendance on the course. Invoices will be sent out in advance once a confirmed booking is received. It is possible to pay using credit/debit card, by cheque made payable to Safe Training Services Ltd and via BACS. If purchase orders are required to make payment, this must be received with the booking form.

Over 5 working days notice = No charge
5 working days or less = 50% fee payable
2 working days or less = 100% fee payable
We reserve the right to cancel the course due to circumstances beyond our control and will refund all fees in full.

Confirmation of Booking
Provisional bookings are held for 5 working days. In this time we must receive a completed booking form, if the completed booking form is not received in this time your place will be released. An email of confirmation will be sent out within 48 hours of receiving the completed booking form. Participants should bring this on the day.

Special requirements
Please contact the office to discuss if you have any particular special requirements. Please read the health & fitness statement within the Joining Instructions.

Delegate requirements
If delegates are booked in to do two categories i.e. 3a and 3b, and prove to have had no experience on the machines, it will be at the discretion of the instructor whether to continue on both categories or, rather than risk a fail, only to train on one category on the day. Training for inexperienced delegates can be provided over 2 days if required (please contact the office).Please note that all attendees must be physically fit and mentally capable. Candidates must have a good standard of written and spoken English or interpreters can be used. IPAF courses, including a practical assessment require the delegate to operate the machines at height. Any delegate with a history of vertigo or giddiness at height should be aware of this.

On-site training

Please ensure we are aware of any on-site requirements such as site inductions etc. We must have contact details of an on-site representative. Please ensure the following are available; Classroom facilities for the number of persons taking part, a safe area to do the practical training, if applicable the current test certificates and manuals for the machines / Towers being used. 

Equipment required

Delegates must bring with them PPE including hard hat, gloves, safety glasses, safety footwear, wet weather gear & harness. If you do not have your own harness we some available to borrow.
If the correct PPE is not brought delegates can be turned away from the course.

First Aid
Candidates must wear sensible clothing, they will be required to kneel down and take part in scenarios.

Course Timings
Unless otherwise agreed delegates must arrive

07.45 for a 08.00 start

08.15 for a 08.30 start

If delegates are held up please contact 01329 849097 or 0783455653 and where possible we will try to wait for them to arrive. Please note if the course is fully booked the instructor may not be able to hold up the course, under these circumstances the course may need to be rescheduled - See Cancellations.


First Aid
These will be given out to the candidates on the day unless notified otherwise.

These certificates and cards will be sent to the person who has paid for the course.

If certificates / cards are not received within two weeks of training please ring. Certificates/cards will be held until invoice is paid in full unless account customer.

Not received certificates / cards
If you have not received your certificate / cards or there is any discrepancy of names or photograph the office needs to be informed within one month of the course.
After one month of the course date it will be deemed that you have received the certificate / card and all is in order, if after this time you will be charged for replacement card / certificate at the current replacement price.

Safe Training Services (Southern) Ltd keeps all personal information you supply for the purpose for which you have provided it for. No information is passed to any third parties unless for accreditation purposes.

Safe Training Services will deliver UK wide. We can also deliver internationally on request. Please contact us for an international orders before placing your order to discuss your needs.

All packages will be sent via courier or delivered by our independent service vehicles.

Whilst all care is taken when packaging goods, should anything in your package be damaged during transit please advise us by calling 0800 622 6457 within 2 working days of receipt of goods to discuss your situation. Any damaged products that are of fault of the courier they need to be left with the courier and a replacement will be sent All Postage and handling costs are as advertised on the website and are agreed to before purchase of any goods.

We endeavour to have all orders dispatched within 3 workings days of your order being placed once payment has cleared into our account. If/when stocks are low, delivery may be delayed. If your order is urgent we strongly suggest you contact us on 0800 622 6457 to discuss your needs first to make sure that the products will be available in time for your required date before your order is placed.
