Course Objective

A half day course ( 4 hours) for anyone in your organisation that uses supervises or manages the use of Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWPS) and needs to be made aware of the correct selection, inspection and use of safety harnesses to prevent falls.

Using the Safe Training Services tried and tested blend of classroom-based theory and hands-on experience, your staff can develop an awareness of the legal and practical implications of preventing falls from MEWPs, learn to identify and select the correct form of harness and lanyard, and be able to thoroughly inspect, maintain, monitor, fit and use them effectively.

No previous experience necessary. Available from our training facility in Hampshire.

  • Practical session (fitting and inspection of a full body harness, restraint lanyard, and correctly attach to an anchorage point)


Successful candidates will receive an IPAF Certificate Of Competency and an IPAF Photo-ID Card.
